What is a Tasbeeh Counter?

A Tasbeeh Counter is a digital tool designed to help Muslims keep track of their dhikr (remembrance of Allah). Traditionally performed using a string of prayer beads (misbaha or tasbih) or using the joints of the fingers, a digital counter offers a convenient, modern alternative for tracking repetitive praises, especially when the count is large.

How to use the digital Tasbeeh Counter

Simply tap the large circular button on the screen to increment your count. The tool is designed with a massive, mobile-friendly tap area so you can use it without looking at the screen. You can customize your dhikr target (like 33 or 99) and the label of what you are reciting using the settings menu.

Common dhikr counts

The most common dhikr sequence following the five daily prayers is:

  • SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) - 33 times
  • Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah) - 33 times
  • Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest) - 33 or 34 times

Another common practice is reciting the 99 Names of Allah. Our counter has built-in targets for 33, 99, and 100 to support these routines.

Privacy note

Your dhikr is a private matter. This counter uses your browser's local storage to save your progress so that you don't lose your count if you accidentally close the tab. None of this data is sent to our servers. You can clear your saved data at any time using the trash icon in the settings menu.
